My family of two adults and three children stayed at the Boardwalk for Mother's Day weekend. It was GREAT!! The hotel is located right around the corner from Pancake Houses, Restaurants, Surf Shops, K-Mart, Groceries, and Broadway at the Beach. Definitely recommend the Captain's House resaurant which is a few blocks north and Magnolia's for Southern cooking. The hotel pools were outstanding and breeze coming off the beach was so relaxing. My family played in the pools most of the day. We ate sandwiches in the grassy picnic area right by the pools. There was a very nice waitress waiting on us and bringing our food and drinks to the table. We also went for walks on the large beach. Even at hight tide, there is plenty of beach to explore. The room was very clean and the bathroom had a jacuzzi tub, which was very relaxing. The kitchen had a full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster and small stove and kitchen towels. The cable TVs were great for the kids and I used the high speed internet provided with the room. The maid service was great too. They were constantly cleaning and picking up after the tourists. We complimented them as we checked out. Definitely recommend to anyone on a budget. A great value and good time.

We stay at this wonderful hotel every year!!!!
We stay here each year and have never ever had any problems! All of the staff have always been pleasant!!! We look forward to seeing everyone in 2010! The Campbells& The Peters!!!

Great Stay!!!!
I stayed in the main building... It was a direct oceanfront end unit with a private bedroom. The bedroom has its own balcony and full bathroom. The living area has a kitchen,murphy bed, second full bathroom and balcony. This is a true one bedroom. The entrance to the unit is not into the bedroom like many one bedroom suites. (There are rooms like that in this building also) The unit is very clean…. The rest of the building was in good condition and it is in a good location. Food and drink within walking distance. It would make a great summer rental for a family or a small group of friends or golfers.

Boardwalk was Great!!!
My wife and I love Boardwalks location to Broadway at the Beach and Ocean Front amenities all within a few minutes of the Resort. The main tower unit we stayed in was Oceanfront (#133) and being on the 1st floor was perfect for pool or ocean watching. In fact we met several people by just sitting out on the balcony. The unit itself was clean and well appointed and came with all we needed for our stay. The staff was accomodating, and although the main check in is located across the street from the resort we were directed easily to plenty of close parking (the price you pay for being center stage in Myrtle Beach). We love the beach and the Boardwalk Resort has ample lawn space for lounging and easy access to the beach. It is also within walking distance to several resturants, amenities and activities. You have gotta check this place out!
